Job Description
abcde is a technology company with 51–200 employees, headquartered in Abrama, India. It is hiring a QA Manual Tester to ensure product quality through structured manual testing processes.
The QA Manual Tester will execute test cases, identify defects, and verify fixes for abcde’s software applications. This role ensures that releases meet functional requirements and quality standards before deployment.
What you'll do
• Develop and execute manual test cases based on functional requirements and user stories.
• Document, track, and report defects using a bug-tracking system.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to verify bug fixes and validate new features.
Requirements
• Proven experience writing and executing manual test cases for web or mobile applications.
• Strong understanding of software testing life cycle (STLC) and defect life cycle.
• Ability to create clear, concise bug reports with reproducible steps.
• Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
• Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation.
Experience
• 2–4 years of experience as a QA Manual Tester.
